Cookies Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored by the browser on your computer or mobile phone. Websites are able to read and write these files, allowing them store things like personalisation details or user preferences. You can think of cookies as providing a "memory" for the website, enabling it to recognise a user and respond appropriately. Some cookies also provide meaningful reports about a website's visitors.

Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies.  A persistent cookie consists of a text file sent by a web server to a web browser, which will be stored by the browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date (unless deleted by the user before the expiry date). A session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.

How do I turn cookies off?

All modern browsers allow you to change your cookie settings - these will usually be found in the 'options' or 'preferences' menu of your browser.
